What Members Receive
Each month members of The Poem-of-the-Month Club™
receive a poemART of
meaning and beauty in the Club category of their choice. Each is original
poetry and art created by jai, an internationally known
poet-artist who has performed and/or exhibited at Shakespeare and Company
(Paris), the Edinburgh and St. Andrews Festivals (Scotland), and many
places in the United States.
Mailings come in striking envelopes that anticipate the beauty
inside. Envelopes are coordinated to be part of the artistic experience
(up to and including the stamp when possible). Some poemARTs are playfully
interactive, an art happening when opened. All poemARTs are signed and
dated, making them highly collectible and likely to appreciate in value.
Membership Categories
Gardens & Nature: For garden and nature lovers, each poem paints a
garden, flower, or tree experience that often extends well beyond the
garden in meaning.
Music & Other Arts: Poems for lovers of classical music, the theatre,
literature, dance, etc.
The Spiritual & the Lighthearted: The most uplifting, lighthearted, and
visually appealing poemARTs as food for the soul. Especially good for
those who are ill, in nursing homes, or often alone.
For anyone to whom you want to extend
your caring
--with joy and color and light--on a regular
basis.
Children's: Poems written especially for the young as well as fun poems
from the other categories.
Membership--From 1 to 12 Months
Membership is $60 per month per club or $640 for a year per club (a
savings of $80) within the United States. (For international

You may join for as many months as
you like--from 1 to 12. Members who join for a year receive an audiotape
of the Christmas* poemART (which is a song) recorded by jai. Very
collectible.
(*Members may choose a recording of another poemART if they prefer.)
You may also send special people in your life a poemART
to commemorate their birthday ("birthday bubbles"), anniversary or
Valentine's Day ("A King in Babylon"), Mother's Day (Daughter/Mother
Diptych), or the first day of spring ("To Follow the Dance").
